GET READY FOR YOUR NEW FAVORITE… OPENING august 23

14 years ago, Chagrin Falls welcomed Umami, our little 28 seat "jewel box of a bistro," with open arms and empty stomachs. Two years ago, in the midst of the pandemic, we announced we would close. Nikki and Mike immediately began putting together what our next act would look like and came up with some amazing ideas. BUT, due to overwhelming demand (and some shameless begging by our most loyal fans) we decided to give in and reopen Umami. We could never quite let go of the ideas that were bouncing around our heads though, and we decided it's time for something a bit different.

While it is definitely sad to say goodbye to Umami, we are incredibly excited to share with you what we've come up with. It’s the same Umami crew you’ve grown to love over the past 14 years, just doing something a little different. Our motto has always been “local, unique, and delicious” and that’s not changing!
